Description

From the Owner:

I’ve built this so when you hunker down for resting, you’ll feel like you’re in a different place. You’ll have a heater, double bed, dimmable lights and a projector all without reach. The cooking setup is accessible from both sides too, so you can literally make a coffee from bed!

Take this little beauty on a lovely adventure and park up wild knowing you have off grid power to get your through the night, with full solar, DC to DC charging and a 240v hookup to power you up.

Description of Beds:

The crafted sofa bed that pulls out into a double bed covering the whole width and height of the internal space. It’s 1.8m long and 1.2m wide when turned into a full bed. If you’re solo travelling, you may not even need to open the bed, with a comfortable 800mm wide side to sleep on. Made with custom luxury cushions the sofa has soft open and close front cupboards and lift top seating for acccessing all belongings underneath. Once the bed cushions are in place, there is a custom fitted sheet made specifically for the bed, so all the cushions will sit snuggly together during your sleep.

Conversion Description:

This is a high-spec boutique van that will be one of a kind. It’s tailored toward people who enjoy adventures and getting outdoors but also happy turn on the heating, dim the lights and watch a movie on the projector setup.

There are so many features on this van it’s hard to described them all, so follow through to the website where you’ll find videos and deeper detail on everything that has been custom built.

Boutique Adventures are awaiting

About the area: From Birmingham you have the ultimate place to get out to whatever type of adventure you seek. The Peak District is within 2 hours drive, Wales is within an hour and you can even drive south and cover the Cotswolds easily enough. With great access for trains, you can reach the campervan easily enough to continue on to your adventures.

Description of Seating: You can fit 3 people up front when driving, with the 2 passenger seats being on swivel bases.

Description of Electrical Setup: This is a solar off-grid setup. There’s a 120 watt solar panel and a viltron DC to DC car charger. Plus when on campsites you’ll be able to use the 240v hookup that will charge the battery and allow you to use the 240v plugs inside. There are 4 USB sockets with one of them a USB C. There are 3 sources of lighting too, reading lamp, side downlight and main roof lights.

Parking:There is street parking available for when you hire the van. However this is public space and I won’t have eyes on your vehicle for duration. There is a local train station called “Stechford” and its possible I can collect you from “Birmingham International”.

Cooking Equipment: All the bits you need! There is a 2 hob burner and there will be all the utensils required plus a single small frying pan, cooking pot and a kettle. There will be x2 bowls and plates to use

Water and Sanitation: There is a built in kitchen sink that has a water tap plumbed directly into the water tank and waste. They can be accessed via the back doors. They are both 16 litre and are removable, so you can remove and fill them if a hose isn’t reachable.

Audio + Video Equipment + Video: There will be an Anker portable speaker and a mini projector with a pull down screen up front, so bring along your usb or cdmi device for streaming your favourite movies.

Type of Heating: Diesel heater that is fixed to the underfloor of the vehicle with the heat running right to your feet inside the van.

Pet Information: Pets are fine in the vehicle, however I would like you to bring a protective sheet or cushions for your pet to sleep or use, especially on the sofa and swivel seat.

Extra Information: Please include anything else you want us to feature in your write-up. It could be specific materials that you have used in the conversion, who it was converted by, and what the van used to be in a former life. Anything really quirky and interesting is always good to include!

Conversion Story: Once upon a time I used to own a large campervan and travelled throughout Europe. However, since then I’ve always wanted to escape the vehicle and use it as a retreat from a cycling or running adventure and I was never in a position to own 2 vehicles, so having something that I could use daily plus escape for a long period suited me much better, so I built this

About the Owner: I’m John from Curated Campers and I built and convert small camper vans into beautiful off grid adventure packed explorers. If you’re interested in one yourself, feel free to get in touch. I accept future commissions (deposit for time booking) or check in to see which van I currently have for sale.
