Description of Beds: Hepzibah sleeps up to two people in her full width fixed rear double bed. Bedding and Bed Linen are optional extras.

Description of Seating: There are three belted seats in the front (including driver) with head rests. Two seats are provided in the living area for use with the pack-away dining table.

About the area: Hepzibah is parked off-road on the owners' driveway in the East Kent village of Eastry, approximately 3 miles South West of Sandwich. Ideally situated for exploring the beautiful White Cliffs country, and the wider South East region, Hepzibah also enjoys good transport links to mainland Europe if you wish to travel further afield.

Parking: If you drive to collect Hepzibah, you are welcome to leave your car in her normal spot on the drive. If you come by train, her owners will be able to pick you up from Sandwich station, or there are bus connections that will bring you to within a hundred metres from the owners’ house.

Cooking Equipment: Hepzibah has a well-equipped kitchen with a fitted double gas hob, sink and 12v fridge with freezer compartment, and enough crockery and cutlery for 4 people. She also has plenty of cooking utensils, including: kettle | teapot and cafetière | 3 saucepans | frying pan | chopping boards | grater | mixing bowls | colander | sieve | measuring jug | 2 sharp knives | tin opener | corkscrew/bottle opener | wooden spoons | spatula | ladle etc. Hepzibah also has a stove-top toasting rack that you can use over the gas hob and enough tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper and cooking oil to get you started.

A washing up bowl, dustpan and brush, tea towels, kitchen towel and environmentally friendly cleaning materials are also provided.

Water Facilities: Underneath Hepzibah is a 55L water tank that supplies water to the sink via a pump. A fresh water container is also supplied if you’re going off-grid for a few days. A Thetford PortaPotti with utility tent are available as an optional extra. All chemicals will be provided.

Audio Equipment: Hepzibah has the cab CD/radio and there are also 4 USB ports available so that you can plug in your own devices.

Type of Heating: An efficient diesel heater is fitted under the bed which is fuelled from the main vehicle tank. This means that Hepzibah is a van for all seasons and will keep you toasty and warm all year round.

Conversion Story: Hepzibah is a tastefully converted former commercial vehicle, designed and built by Jed Anthony Harris, an award-winning carpenter from Brighton. We had been searching for a van, saw Hepzibah and found that she had everything we wanted. There is ample storage space, both in the living and garage areas. The electrics in particular have been well thought out. A solar panel provides power to the fridge, heater and lighting whilst off grid. To switch to mains supply simply connect to a power source with the lead supplied.
