About the area: Peach is located in the little village of Elstead, Godalming on a quiet lay-by outside of Elstead Village Hall. We are very lucky to be surrounded by beautiful countryside and the Surrey Hills. There are many lovely walking trails and hikes to get stuck into whichever way you go. Godalming itself has a lovely little high street worth visiting, we highly recommend stopping off at Godalming Delights Coffee and Sweet Shop, as well as The National Trusts’ Winkworth Arboretum which is a short 15 minute drive from Peach’s parking spot.

Description of Beds: Peach has a full sized static double bed that sleeps 2 adults (and a little one if they decide to sneak in during the night). The bench seat has an additional piece that connects to make a L shaped bed which sleeps a small person comfortably. The bed is fitted to give enough headroom to sit upright without having to slouch and has enough room underneath it to store bags and sports equipment.

Description of Seating: Peach has 3 belted seats in the front cabin. There’s bench seating in the main living area and chairs are stored under the bed for outdoor use.

Description of Electrical Setup: Peach has been installed with a solar panel and leisure battery for off-grid use and has an external electrical hook-up for use on campsites. There are 4 dimmable LED downlights, a bedside light and sink lights. There are also 4 USB charging ports and a 3 pin plug.

Parking: There is plenty of parking available in the lay-by that Peach is located in. It’s a quiet lay-by in a quiet village so there's no need for permits or parking tickets. The closest train station is Milford Train Station and is 4 miles away so driving is probably the best way to get to Peach.

Cooking Equipment: Peach has 2 gas hobs.

Water and Sanitation: There is a 50 litre fixed water tank in Peach that supplies water to the sink via a pump. The tank also provides water to the external shower that’s fitted underneath the bed at the rear, and can be used once the back doors are open. The tank can be refilled from the cap located on the outside of the van.

Audio Equipment: Peach is an older girl so only has a radio/cd player in the front cabin, but we have provided an array of CDs to choose from in the glove compartment!

Type of Heating: Peach comes with a diesel heater that will keep you super cosy in the colder months.

Conversion Story: Peach was brought as a simple builders van, her previous owner was very sad to hand her over as she was in such good condition. We began stripping Peach back and converting her ourselves until we realised...we had no idea what we were doing! We found Craig Jones based in Kent via Quirky Campers back in 2020 and the rest is history. He built Peach exactly how we imagined and couldn't have been happier with her. Cladded walls and furniture built with recycled crates gives Peach such a warm homely feel. Combined with the back doors open to the most gorgeous countryside views and it's the perfect break away from the stresses of life!
