VW (Volkswagen) Transporter T25, (1986) Used - Good condition Campervan for sale in South West | CS34505B1

We are reluctantly selling our soon-to-be officially vintage 1986 VW T25 Autohomes Karisma conversion campervan because we have bought a small caravan as we do not do as much carefree touring as we used to so thought it time to pass on this absolute gem of a vehicle to his next owner and new adventures.

We bought Speedy (see numberplate) in 2010 when the recorded mileage was 80,000 and he’s now done 106,415 miles including trips all over the UK plus France, Germany and Spain. During that time we can safely say that he has only ever broken down once when his battery died but was up and running within an hour. While we appreciate that this is no indication or recommendation for future performance, he has been extremely reliable for us.

In 2018, we undertook a fairly extensive refurbishment at a VW specialist which included rewelding all rear sills, remedial work on incipient rust areas plus a full respray in classic VW L90D colour, waxoiling of chassis and underneath plus a complete reupholster of all seats at a specialist vehicle upholsterer. The interior was refurbished panel-by-panel with new surface vinyl, flooring, carpet lining and insulation throughout and the fridge serviced and gas lines rerouted and gas-safe checked.

Speedy has been looked after throughout his time with us - kept under a winter cover from Nov-March every year and all potential problems rectified as soon as they appeared.
