In spite of its age this much loved camper is in excellent condition. We have owned and enjoyed it since it was new. It has been used on average for about one week per year and all of the rest of the time it has been stored in a dry garage with the wheels raised from the ground. It has also been fully serviced on several occasions. It comes with a full length awning that approximately doubles the size of the camper. The Pennine Sterling is a six berth unit with three generous sized double bunks. Two of them are in the overhanging sections at each end and can be left permanently made up when camping. The third bed is made by lowering the dining table to the level of the adjacent bunks. This camper has 240v electrics available with two sockets and a trip box (hook up cable not included). There is a three way fridge (gas, 12v or 240v electric supply) a cooker with two rings and a grill and a water supply operated by a foot switch via a 12v external leisure battery (included), all of which work very well. One full gas bottle and one part used bottle are included. For the water supply the fresh water carrier and the grey waste water tank are included. There are two large storage lockers under the dining bench seats. One of them can be used to store the grey water tank and a few other items. The other is used to store the complete awning including the poles, pegs and breathable ground sheet. Nothing is ever perfect, of course – there are some sections of the Velcro strip around the rail at the bottom of the canvas section which could do with replacing. It works fine in any case which is why I haven’t got round to doing this fairly simple job! One of the inverted U shaped poles showed signs of a slight crack about 15 years ago so I added a simple brace to the corner. Also about 5 years ago we had a tyre blowout and some damage was done to the plastic wheel arch. I effected a repair to that which purchasers are welcome to inspect. Both repairs have worked well and there have been no further problems. This camper is very comfortable, some would say luxurious and it is totally waterproof. Neither the main canopy nor the awning have ever let in a drop of rain water. The furnishings are all in excellent condition as is the chassis which does not appear to have any corrosion.
