The build quality of Coachman is well known and respected and I have to agree of all the caravans we have owned, the Coachman is the one best “screwed together”.
I won’t swamp you with the standard specification details - Alde heating, removeable carpets, ALKO ATC, LED lighting throughout, etc etc but here are the extras we had factory or dealer fitted prior to collection-
Truma 100 watt Solar panel
Tyron Bands
Paint seal Teflon exterior and interior fabric treatment - guaranteed to March 2025
Powrtouch Evolution Manual engagement mover - guaranteed till March 2025
Phantom Tracker - subscription paid till March 2025.
Weight plate upgrade to 1500kg.
Balance of Coachman damp and water ingress warranty transferable to new owner.
Not wanting to inflate the cost of the caravan by loading it with extras that any potential purchaser wouldn’t require, it’s been decided to offer several items as by seperate negotiation.
Included in the sale will be 6kg propane gas bottle, rear stabiliser locks, Hitchcock, 25 metre mains hook up cable, extra wheel lock. Waste water carrier.
By seperate negotiation -
Kampa Air Pro 260;inflatable awning - complete with Kampa ground mat, limpets, pegs, storm straps.
Specialised Covers caravan front towing cover.
Milenco Grand Aero mirrors
Whole caravan winter cover
Current list price for a VIP460/2 is £33740 - add on the extras fitted to ours and this price would increase to almost £37000.
Little if anything has happened to the specification over the last 4 years, so grab a bargain as they say and save £18000
Thats a lot of pitch fees?
From online checks and phone calls made this caravan would sit on a dealers forecourt at circa £22000 and for that you would be offered a 3 or 6 month warranty.
Coachman warrants against damp or water ingress for 10 years, so you don’t need that, and I cannot see anything going wrong in a four year old van that’s going to cost the £3000 difference of my selling price to theirs?
I very confident the first person to view will be the person who buys - so don’t miss this one
