Create my profile now!Description of seating: The driver's seat and passenger seat fully swivel around to face the rear. The driver's seat turns to the dining table facing opposite a purpose-built cushioned seat with storage.
Description of electrical set-up: With fully charged batteries, Henry can go off-grid for 2-3 days. There is also a 100w solar panel on the roof which will keep the batteries topped up in appropriate weather. The battery powers the following: 12-volt fridge freezer, control panel, 2 USB points, 22-inch TV, Hob and oven igniter, all lights, electric doorstep, and shower pump. Built in Sat Nav
There are three double sockets which can be powered when plugged in to hook up; one above the fridge, one under the dining table and one in the back of the garage on the left.
The main power will also charge the batteries.
Water and sanitation: There is an 82-litre underslung fresh water tank under the van and a 70-litre waste water tank. The tank is easily filled with the hosepipe provided in Henry's boot. Henry has a cassette toilet that can be emptied on-site.
Cooking equipment: Henry has an oven and a 3-burner hob. A Cadac BBQ Safari Chef is also provided for outside cooking and can be easily connected to the onboard gas.
Plates, bowls, cups, plastic glasses and cutlery are provided along with cooking equipment including pans, a kettle tin opener, knives and a chopping board.
About the area: Darrington, West Yorkshire is a village split in two by the A1 trunk road, and in close proximity to the M62. The nearest train stations are located in Pontefract - 3 miles away.
Parking: Henry is parked on the driveway in a cul-de-sac. If you drive to collect him, you can park in his usual place.
Conversion story: Henry was a lockdown project. So far Henry has visited the length and breadth of the UK, taking in the sights of Cornwall, the Peak District, the Lake District, Norfolk, Scotland and the Yorkshire Dales. With the onboard heating, Henry is suitable for all weather conditions. For ease of use, Henry is automatic and has parking sensors and a camera to assist with all manoeuvres.
