1. Bournemouth
Bournemouth is located in Dorset on the South Coast of England. Bournemouth took the place of no.1 beach in the UK in the Tripadvisor Travellers Choice Awards. The 7 mile stretch of sand has been enticing holiday-goers over many years, since the Victorian days. The beach is home to surfing and watersports giving it even more of a "Mediterranean feel." Tripadvisor readers said the beach consists of ‘lovely clean beaches with lots of benches.’
2. Luskentyre Beach
Luskentyre beach is located in Scotland, Perched on the edge of Harris, the third largest island in the Outer Hebrides. The beach is very remote and quiet so you’ll certainly be avoiding the crowds.‘One of the most precious beaches of Europe,’ says one TripAdvisor reviewer.
3. Rhossili Bay
Rhossili Bay is located in Gower Peninsula, South Wales. Famous for its beauty, Rhossili Bay has 3 miles of white shimmering sand. Described as the ‘supermodel of British beaches’ by the Independent. The beach is used by many walkers and windsurfers. The Times has labeled it the UK’s no.1 dog friendly beach.
4. Brighton Beach
Brighton Beach is located in East Sussex. Brighton beach is made up of pebbles and also features Brighton Pier. A perfect place to grab fish and chips and sit on the beach on a deck chair! 5. Weymouth Beach
