The design of a brand new RV caught the eye of traveling fanatics as they discovered just how much freedom is possible in a caravan.
The Departure One RV exceeds all expectations and provides you with limitless possibilities as a vehicle that can travel across both land and water.
More recently there’s been a growing amount of seriously high-tech RVs and campervans being released onto the market, but not one that stands out quite like this…
The Departure One provides you with both a caravan and boat all in one to make your holiday a real adventure.
The RV was created by a German company called CaravanBoat.
The Departure One comes fully equipped with an efficient kitchen, toilet and shower as well as a covered terrace. It is designed to be towed behind a car and provide two passengers the ability to travel for two days without additional electrical power or water supplies.
Towing a large boat isn’t ideal for everyone but when the outcome is being able to travel the countryside and explore new waterways the new RV is appealing to everyone.
The Departure One's design is based on the original Caravan Boats that launched in the UK and Australia in the 1960s.
The basic model of this RV is available from 58,000 euros. The overall length of the vehicle is 9m and it has a total weight of 2.3t.
The RV also has optional awnings and a roof that is designed to be walkable so you can take in great views wherever your surroundings may be.
CaravanBoat describes the Departure One as perfect for those that “treasure their freedom and independence and strive to maintain a variety of options while traveling.”
