Luxury static caravan available for private sale at Allhallows Leisure Park, near Rochester, Kent. It's a 2 bedroom (6 berth) model and comes with a large wraparound decking. It’s on a front-row Waterfront pitch with unrestricted sea views over the Thames Estuary, and is a stones throw from the beach and the fishing lake. The Vogue was the top-of-the-range caravan in its day, and comes with lots of luxury features, including double glazing, central heating, free-standing furniture, washing machine, and an integrated fridge & freezer.
It’s for sale at £20,000 which includes the owner transfer fee, and the buyer will need to make arrangements with the park for 2020 site fees. There are various option to pay including monthly instalments. The caravan is still in good condition, although there are some cosmetic bits that could be easily fixed. The park doesn’t have any age limits for caravans, and the caravan can be for 9.5 months of the season (only shuts for 2 weeks in December, and January & February).
The caravan has an unusual “closed-lounge” layout, with a separate lounge and kitchen. The main living area has front-opening patio doors that lead onto the decking, and you can watch the boats sailing up the Thames from the sofa. You’ll see some amazing sunrises and sunsets, and see the lights of Southend at night.
The lounge comes with a free-standing double sofa and armchair, a large wall unit, a TV unit, coffee table, and an electric fire. Its a very good size and feels very homely because it is separate from the kitchen. The kitchen has a range-style gas cooker & grill, a washing machine, an integrated fridge-freezer, lots of cupboards and worktops and a dining table with 4 chairs.
Being a two bedroom model means the master bedroom is a great size, and comes with a double bed, a large wardrobe, an en-suite toilet, and lots of space around the bed. There’s also a second bedroom with a single bed, and a family wash-room with a large double shower, toilet and sink.
Allhallows is a great holiday park, looking over the River Thames estuary towards Southend. It is just 1/2 hour away from the M25, but feels like a real countryside location. The park has a 9.5 month season (including being open for Christmas and New Year), and is a mostly owners site (90% of caravans are privately owned). There is a real community feel amongst the owners.
The park facilities include a 9-hole golf-course, a fishing lake, heated indoor and outdoor pools, nightly entertainment, a newly refurbished clubhouse, arcades, sports court, 24hr security, and a great grounds team that keeps the park tidy. All of these activities are free for owners to use, and there is also an active owners team who organise events. Allhallows has no caravan age policy, so will make its new owners happy for many years.
