The kitchen is very nice and finished with light oak worktops and white door-fronts. There's a full-size integrated fridge & freezer, an integrated dishwasher, built-in microwave, and the oven and grill are at waist height, making it easy to cook. There's a lovely island unit which gives you more storage and doubles-up as a breakfast bar. The dining area contains a free-standing table and chairs and a lovely display unit next to it.
The lodge has two bedrooms, and the master comes with its own en-suite toilet and shower room. We spent £2000 on a new mattress which has barely been used. There's lots of room around the bed, and the room comes with a large walk-in wardrobe, bedside cabinets, and a TV point on the wall. We changed the second bedroom into another double room, but it can be converted back to a twin room easily. There's a large double wardrobe, bedside cabinets, and access into the loft area for suitcases etc. Finally, there's a large family washroom with a full-size bath (with an overhead shower), a toilet and a sink.
Overall, the lodge is in superb condition and is ready to move straight into. There's still another 28 years left on the licence. If you want to enjoy a bit of luxury while you're away from home, this lodge will definitely impress.
Camber Sands Holiday Park is one of the biggest and liveliest parks along this coast. There is a beautiful 7 mile sandy beach directly opposite the park, with a range of amusements of seaside shops. The historic town of Rye is just 10 minutes drive away and has plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants. On site, there are 4 heated indoor pools with a flume, an adventure playground, crazy golf, go karts, multi-sports court, a large clubhouse with nightly entertainment, restaurant, takeaway, supermarket and free Wi-fi. If you are looking for a park that will keep the whole family occupied, then this is the park for you. The local area is superb, with lots of places to explore. There is golf and fishing nearby, kite-surfing, sailing, riding schools, and much more. The largest local town is Hastings with all the big shops.
