On-siteMake ABISt David6 berth
* Price includes 2020 site fees *
The caravan is a 2012 model with two bedrooms (6 berth), and has double glazing and central heating which makes it ideal for the park's long 11.5 month season. I’m looking for £29,500 which includes site fees & rates for the remainder of 2019 and 2020, new gas & electric safety checks, and the owner-transfer fee. It's a lot cheaper than the park would sell for and similar models are being sold on the park for around £45,000 so the new buyer will be getting a fantastic deal. New Beach only shuts for 2 weeks during February, and you can use the caravan whenever you want during the rest of the year.
The caravan is a good size (38’ x 12’) and is a two bedroom model meaning the rooms are spacious and it doesn’t feel cramped. It`s a very attractive caravan and is nicely decorated throughout. The caravan is sited near the Neptune Pub with parking nearby and a 10 minutes' walk from the main complex area. It's a quiet area of the park and my neighbours are mostly owners with no noisy holiday-makers nearby.
The caravan has an open-plan layout with high ceilings and lots of windows, so feels spacious. The lounge has a large L-shaped sofa (with a pull-out bed beneath), a wall-mounted TV, an electric feature fireplace, coffee table and TV cabinet, and lots of storage cupboards. There is a set of front-opening patio doors which would be ideal for a decking area, although I never got round to installing one. The kitchen is very well equipped and is ideal for anyone who likes to cook. There are plenty of cupboards and lots of storage, and there is a full-size integrated fridge-freezer, a gas cooker & hob, and an extractor to remove any cooking smells. There’s also a table with 4 chairs.
The master bedroom has a large flip-up style bed with storage beneath, an en-suite toilet, lots of wardrobe space, and plenty of space around the bed to move around freely. The second bedroom has 2 large single beds, a full-length wardrobe, and overhead cupboards. Finally there is a large washroom which has a double shower, toilet and sink. I'll also include the metal storage shed outside (worth £530) which has a washing machine inside.
New Beach Holiday Park is located on the coastal road between Hythe and Dymchurch, and has recently invested £4m into park facilities, including a brand new show-bar and restaurant. There’s also The Neptune pub/carvery which has a more relaxed setting for adults. The park is located directly opposite the sea, and there’s a great sea-wall promenade which stretches for miles. It’s ideal for walking and cycling, and taking in the sea air.
The seaside resort of Dymchurch is just a mile away, with a regular bus-service outside the park. Dymchurch has a lovely sandy beach, amusement park, and plenty of pubs and cafes. Hythe is the nearest town, with supermarkets, cafes and restaurants, and a really great social scene. The summer months provide various organised events, including the week-long Hythe Canal Festival, circus and funfairs, food festivals and boot-fairs. Folkestone also hosts various events, including Folkestone Air Show, vintage car rallies, outdoor music and is the main shopping centre for the area.
