water works now working :-) in fact they was not broken, when i asked the caravan service guy to take a look "have you connected the outside pump?" he asked "what pump?" i replied, he laughed connected it up and found everything to be perfect, in fact he changed the hose pipe due to age and issued a habitation certificate, he even commented how he was amazed by the condition for a 2003 model!
