Touring CaravansConventionalsBuccaneer2 berth
Internal length of 16 feet provides plenty of space for two adults and with us, a very large dog!
Sadly my lifestyle has changed and I have taken the decision to part with our much loved Buccaneer.
Bought privately when the Bucc was only four years old, we have toured extensively in the UK for the past twenty years in supreme comfort. An onboard water tanks covers the cold days and supplemented by Attwood blown air heating, we were kept toasty warm.
The L shaped end kitchen benefits from a swing out unit providing ample space to cook.
There is so much storage space we could never manage to fill them and there is a lovely backlit cocktail cabinet. Flip out table proved sufficient for us to eat/drink from and the separate table was never used. The banks are 6' 2" long and still supportive despite their age.
There are two gas lockers at the front with slide out gas cylinder trays.
I have not used the van in two years but will check all the services work before finalising the sale.
It was extensively restored four years ago at cost of over £4000 and would have been better to sell. However, I struggled to find another van that quite met the standards of this one. Sadly, damp has returned to the toilet side and elsewhere, I do not have the time now to address that.
The Buccaneer would be an ideal winter project for someone and I would have done this myself indeed, I will include the mastic and strip for the lucky buyer.
Included in the buy it now price will be the caravan, full Bradcot awning, a propane gas cylinder.
There is a motor mover fitted which is essential, the rollers would benefit from re-gritting or replacing.
Do not expect a bone dry caravan, the Buccaneer is 24 years old but has real character. There are a few dings and dents that show the van has not sat in someone's driveway but has seen life.
