Abbey Vogue 310 2009 Caravan Review
The Abbey Vogue 530 is an impressive model with more equipment included as standard and a modern look to suit young families looking for a competitive five-berth layout.

Not only is the Vogue 530 easy on the eye; it is also easy to use and the set up process simple. The steady points and waste pipes are easy to access and the gas strut on the front locker allows the door to open high.

A button-less handbrake makes positioning the van a relatively easy task, and that's important as Vogue owners could have anything up to 1485kg to move around.

Inside the Vogue 530 most of the furniture edges are curved; not only is this an attractive design feature but it is also a strategic safety device to stop young children bumping into sharp corners.

A big, central Heki roof-light provides ample illumination, backed up by the smart molded corner lights, and the fixtures and fittings are well made.

The drawers in the central chest are nice and deep but the top of the chest is a fold-over table rather than a slide-out table which makes things a little less convenient, as this is the obvious location for the television. There are two aerial points for the television though so you do have a choice when it comes to its location

The kitchen is of a pretty high standard; with plenty of space to cook and move around, there are both a gas hob and an electric hot plate should you run out of gas – and the fridge is large which is perfect for a family.

The removable drainer is a good way to free-up workspace, especially because it can be used on the worktop or, if you need the space, on the hob’s glass lid.

The Abbey Vogue 360 has a side washroom which is often cramped but this one has a separate shower unit along with a swivel, electric flush toilet and a recessed hand basin so they’ve really managed to maximize the space available.

In terms of sleeping; this tourer has a double bed which converts from the rear dinette as well as a single bunk above it. At the front; the seating area also converts and the bed slats will slide out nicely to accommodate the cushions.
