Since it was first made available in 1999 the Avondale Osprey has been a very popular caravan. The 2008 model fits the bill completely and is the safe bet for a lot of caravan buyers, with its tried and tested layout and relaxed feel.
The Avondale Osprey 2008 model is a good family caravan, however, a large proportion of its users are retired couples who spend their time caravanning around the country.
It follows suit form previous models with regard to the exterior but inside the differences are there. The flat fronted and framed lockers have been replaced with solid, curving units with very upmarket handles.
The furnishings look warm and are comfy. And, you can choose between either a parallel lounge or an L-shaped lounge design at no extra cost. The parallel bed is the more favourable in my opinion as you always get more room in the bed than if you opt for the L-shape.
The dinette is nearside and is complete with a fold-out cantilever bunk bed overhead. The dinette is handy in size and is a great place to sit and eat breakfast.
The kitchen is the brilliant. It is large in size and is extremely well equipped too. You get an LCD-controlled 113 litre fridge with a great domestic style unitary cooker and an 800W microwave. The sink and drainer combo is also pretty huge which means dinner time is as easy as ever in the Avondale osprey 2008 model.
The Osprey has the full width, end washroom which for the 2008 model has been changed to look and feel even more special than its predecessors. There is a walk in wardrobe and a great cylindrical shower unit with a solid washbasin unit.
There aren’t many washrooms in the caravan world that compare to the one in the Osprey.
