The Hallmark Vitesse is a limited edition of the popular Sterling Europa 500 model and was supplied new by Camping International to the previous owner to us in March 2005 (we have service book as proof) although it is an 04 model on the chassis plate. The Hallmark Vitesse has an upgraded interior with fabric and cabinet upgrades to give a luxury interior.
Layout is standard lounge at front with central kitchen and bathroom for good weight didtribution and stable towing. Rear is L-shape lounge by day with table and bedroom combinations by night with slide across wooden doors to divide off.
We purchased the van in 2007 from a local reputable dealership so have all the history and receipts of purchase including service book and all handbooks. It came with a full fitted Specialised Cover (worth over £500 new) so has always been kept covered in the winter which helps prevent premature ageing. It is in very good condition for its age and the cover is also great for keeping the van clean between trips so you don’t have to keep giving it a full clean removing dirt, black streaks, mildew and the usual bird/fly/spider droppings that build up over even a few weeks of storage.
The van is CRiS registered to us at our home address. The van has been regularly serviced from new the most recent was in July 2010. At this time the van had 2 new tyres and repairs to the fridge of new element and thermocouple so should be good many years again. So we have spent over £500 on the van this year. The shower tray was also replaced late in 2008 as this was cracked, these are known to crack with age so will also last for many more years.
We have had this caravan for just over 3 years and have loved and looked after it, we now have to sell it - reluctantly! Due to our growing family we need a larger van and would be interested in doing a deal on eBay with a 4 Berth (fixed bed) or 6 Berth twin axle Sterling or Swift 600-620 size of similar age or newer or may consider others.
The caravan is generally in excellent condition but has some very minor marks on the body, as can be expected of a family caravan of this age. Details and photos can be supplied. they are not major just making people aware up front so no surprises at viewings. I am not aware of any dents to the body just these few minor marks or scratches. Caravan was checked for damp at last service July 2010 and passed all checks ok.
