If you are looking for a lightweight 4 berth caravan with a fixed bed, which can be towed by a large family car, at a starter caravan price, this Bailey Pageant Burgundy shouldn't be missed.

The caravan will suit a family with kids who can use the lounge seating as beds, or couples looking for a fixed bed layout with lots of living space.

Bailey updated the established Pageant range in 2007, with new full height front and rear ABS panels, Al-Ko 3004 stabiliser and gas assisted hand-brake, combined with an enhanced level of interior trim and equipment, resulting in a practical, modern caravan which makes an excellent purchase on the secondhand market.

At the front of the caravan, 3 large double glazed windows, provide a great view from the lounge and are fitted with night ventilation locks, blackout blinds and flyscreens. The lounge is a u-shaped variation, providing lots of seating space for a family and internally sprung bench seats can be converted into a large double bed for sleeping. The seats are upholstered in an attractive neutral 'Epsom' fabric and are complemented by matching curtains, scatter cushions and removable carpets. The lounge features a folding table which is stored in it's own locker, and a spacious dining experience at mealtimes. The lounge also features a large amount of storage both under the seats and in the overhead aircraft-style lockers, with handles finished in satin silver. In the ceiling of the lounge area is a Heki 2 rooflight, providing light and ventilation for the lounge.

Moving back through the caravan, the kitchen area is equipped with a Spinflo recessed sink with clip on draining board and ceramic ball mixer tap. There is a large Dometic 117 litre refrigerator with full width freezer compartment and a Spinflo recessed 4 burner hob unit, incorporating a flush-fitting glass hinged lid. Below this is a Spinflo combined grill and domestic-style glass fronted oven with electronic ignition and flame failure device and a microwave oven is fitted as standard, allowing easy catering for a family, from simple breakfasts to full evening meals. An Omnivent dual action rooflight extractor fan provides ventilation when cooking.

Next to the kitchen is a wardrobe with a hanging rail for clothing and opposite the kitchen is a unit with a TV point with additional lockers underneath. This unit houses the dual fuel Truma 3002 space-heater, which provides blown-air heating distributed around the caravan.

At the rear of the caravan is the bedroom and washroom facilities, which can be separated from the rest of the caravan with a curtain. The bedroom features a fixed bed and a premium quality mattress on an aluminium space frame which can be lifted up to access the large storage space underneath. There is a Heki 2 rooflight above the bed which provides light and ventilation for the bedroom.

Opposite the bed is a wash-basin and vanity unit, with integrated storage and vanity light. In the rear corner of the caravan, a domestic-style door leads to the shower and toilet, arranged in wetroom layout, featuring a swivelling Thetford C-250 cassette toilet and shower unit with ceramic ball mixer tap.

The caravan is fitted with RCD/MCD protected mains electrics and three 230v sockets some of which have USB charging points which are ideal of charging phones or ipads etc, 12v and 230v internal lighting with ambient and reading lights throughout the caravan. There is a radio/CD entertainment unit and a Status 530 tv aerial ensuring excellent TV station reception.

In summary, this is a great example of the popular Bailey Pageant Series 6 range with a desirable fixed bed, 4 berth layout. It will be serviced and damp-checked prior to sale providing real peace of mind for a new owner and comes with all the original owner's manuals.
